Applying my unique skills & Experience

Learning the Ropes of UX/UI Design.

Why UX & UI?

I found my way into UX/UI design after being placed on a small team to work on a digital platform and teaching myself the basics of UX online. I immediately fell in love, as I was able to combine my creativity and problem solving skills with helping people!

Work Experience.

I am experienced in optimising workflows and processes and designing solutions to improve the experience of end-users. I have always put the wants and needs of users at the heart of this while still upholding business goals.

Education.

Both my undergrad and postgraduate degrees relate to Environment, Politics and Development. It’s meant I am able to bring a unique, critical and empathetic perspective to my User Research and problem solving.

bits.

Here is what I like to do in my spare time.

Dog mum.

I have the very important role of being a dog mum! Rosie is a middle-aged cockapoo stuck in toddler-mode.

Rock climbing.

Rock climbing is my exercise that does not feel like exercise, and my favourite part is problem solving to work out how to tackle each route!

Creative hobbies.

I love learning new skills and getting my creativity on! You can find me needle felting, sewing, or building 3D characters on Blender, to name just a few of my creative hobbies.

Gaming.

I like to play console, desktop and virtual reality games, when I have time. Me and my family are also avid Escape Roomers!
